Bandon Crossings Press Release

DATE:            March 25, 2008

Bandon Crossings Continues to Receive National Acclaim

Golfweek recently named Bandon Crossings Golf Course as one of the top 10
places to play in Oregon. This ranking places Bandon Crossings along with other
great Oregon courses such as Bandon Dunes Resort, Crosswater and Pumpkin
Ridge. Additionally, in their March 2008 issue, GOLF Magazine featured Bandon
Crossings as a worthy alternative, delivering the same drama and challenge as the
Bandon Trails course at the Bandon Dunes Resort. This follows being named one of
the country’s Top Ten New Courses of 2007 by GOLF Magazine in January 2008.
Bandon Crossings has also been nominated for Golf Digest’s Best New Courses for
2008, which will be published next January.
Another Bandon Oregon Golf Course Finds Its Way To National Recognition.
Bandon Crossings opened for play in July of 2007. “Majestic coastal trees,
classically sculpted bunkers and uneven terrain provide the main challenges” says
GOLF Magazine about Dan Hixson’s scenic 6,855 yard design. Hixson is now in the
company of designers such as Tom Fazio, Bob Cupp, and Nick Faldo, who all had a
course earn a spot on this year’s “Top Ten” List by GOLF Magazine.
Bandon Crossings adds additional variety and flavor to the already renown golf
destination of Bandon, Oregon. “The Crossings” is located 10 miles south of Bandon
Dunes Resort on Highway 101, and offers a great complement to the highly regarded
Bandon Dunes trio of courses. According to Golfweek’s rankings, the charming town
of Bandon-by-the-Sea now has four golf courses on Oregon’s Top Ten.
Bandon Crossings is shaping up for a great spring season. The first winter
season has come and gone with superb drainage, fabulous conditioning and great roll.
Affordable spring rates and the option for a player to ride make this a must-play golf
course. For tee times or any inquiries please contact the Bandon Crossings Golf
Shop at (541)347-3232.
