Additional information: Crossings Cup Competition
I am sure most of you know how the PGA Tour and its Fed Ex Cup works, but if not, here is how it runs: Throughout the year players obtain points for each tournament played. The better the player finishes, the more points earned. At the end of the season, the player with the most points wins the Fed Ex Cup.
We have our own Fed Ex Cup called "The Crossings Cup". For each event completed a player will collect one (1) point. The higher a player finishes, the more points obtained. Each event will be awarded 40 additional points as follows:
1st Gross 10 points
1st Net 10 points
2nd Net 8 points
3rd Net 6 points
4th Net 4 points
5th Net 2 points
Major Championship weekends will be double points.
Throughout the year points will be added up and after the final scheduled event on Sept. 21st, 28th (Club Championship) the top eight (8) point leaders will enter The Crossings Cup Playoffs. Those eight will compete in a match-play format until we have a Bandon Crossings Cup Champion.
