It has to be # 17 for me...
It took me about 3 years to decide, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who will choose #17. It's short (and I'm a very short hitter), it's beautiful, and it's fun. Yes, a bit intimidating at first, but then you get to the really fun green, and it's never over til its over. There's more than one of my balls lost down there in front somewhere, and the best I've done is birdie, but it is my favorite. It's named "Snag" for the great old snag in the spring fed pond, one of many designated wetlands on the course.
It's also had more Holes in One than any other hole on the course, so I would guess that alone makes it a favorite of many.
I'm sure the reason it took me so long to choose, is that I watched each hole take shape, ermerging quite literally out of the ground. I watched trees come out and drainage put in, bunkers carved and sand mined. Each hole has a story, and it's own unique challenges, both in creation and in playability. It was during that process that we came up with the phrase "18 Unique Adventures", which really says it all. So let everyone know which hole you find especially interesting, and why, by commenting on this article.
