Get a cart, it has a few steep grades with some of the holes quite far apart. Other than that it is kept in very good condition, and very fairly priced especially after playing Bandon Dunes.

This is a great course located 5 miles south of Bandon. Definitely take a power cart! Conditions were excellent and it was reasonably priced. A few holes require a decent carry so make sure you have enough club. This course is a nice change of pace if you are playing the Bandon Dunes courses during your visit. The one negative I had was that there are power lines that run alongside one of the par 5's that detracts from the serene surroundings.

If you are visiting the Southern Oregon Coast and a golfer who is part of the 99% and not the 1% that the patrons of Bandon Dunes seem to be in, this is a fun course that is moderately priced (about $75 greens fees). It is about 5 miles south of Bandon. My wife, friends and I have played it a half-dozen times. The course is interesting, challenging (the par 3's particularly so for us short-hitting high-handicap seniors) and well-maintained. I wouldn't want to walk it. It's a long way from the green to the next tee on many holes. If your focus is on the 19th hole, forget it: clubhouse amenities are minimal. They have put their money into the course, not the clubhouse. (Although they do have a rather nice vacation rental house on the course which can sleep up to six with full kitchen facilities and also gives you a discount on golf if you stay there.)
If you really want the full golf/social experience at reasonable price, play Bandon Crossings, then go 10 miles north to Bandon Dunes and have a cocktail and a snack in their really nice restaurant. Visit the Pro Shop there and buy a hat or ball marker or whatever in so your friends will think you played at Bandon Dunes.
